Mk1 capri adjustable coilovers

Hi all. Do many people hear have adjustable coilovers for the front of their capri (2 1/4 springs)

Looking at options. Seen some which are a threaded tube that you weld on to your strut. Has anyone done this? Or i have seen the GAZ coilovers however currency conversion plus shipping to aus is a bit of a killer.

Any other options?

Adjustable height coilovers are semi pointless unless you have a decent set of dampers with independent bump and rebound adjustments.

Hi mate, im interested in doing the same and fit to my mk2 escort.

From my research im thinking of heading down this route. The coil over kit can be brought from here and have been suggested quite high spring rates 4kg, there is a conversion to pounds on their website but i cant find it atm

    http://www.otomoto.com.au/p/9095168/hsd-51mm-sleeve-kit-4k-.html

Then was thinking of mating it to a Koni insert with part number 86-1835SPORT, these can be brought out of ebay germany for around 4-500 delievered. These are a one way adjustable. From my understanding Koni/bilstein do a two way adjustable unit but a hole and thread needs to be drilled into the base of the strut to accommodate this. Im thinking more a set and forget set up will be what im chasing.

Choice of strut top is up to you depending on how much adjustment you want.

Hope this helps, i havent gone down this route yet more so just planned it and waiting for the wallet to catch up.
