No loss there .Sent me an abusive PM saying Im trying to devalue his car..Lets be honest an alleged reshelled in need of a full restoration. Then had the addacity to brag about being insured for 50k . Ohh but dont worry about driving around on trade plates... Dont really think he contributed much without hijacking everyone elses threads , then abuse tge original poster ...W.T.F.
I hope the 2019 capriciation doesnt turn into a blood bath. Its looking like it will be ..
    Good luck

Was thinking about taking a car along, but maybe not now. I’ll probably drop in and have a look at all the cars on display (like I did in 2009) but just keep to myself. Not worth the trouble.

Looks like Whooligan (Glenn ) has left the building as well.  This is a great shame, the man was a wealth of info.  Honestly this level of bitchiness akin to 15yo girls on facebook, was not here 2 or even 1 year ago.  Maybe we need to ensure some kind of identifiable detail is recorded when someone joins to stop the anonymous sniping.

2019 should be a damn good event.  The 40th was awesome in 2009.  I really don't think there will be any square ups-the event is all about the cars, the networking and fun friendly relaxed atmosphere.  I'll be taking my 3 cars.

Ironically, we are trying to gather as many of the 11 265HP cars for a special feature so a lifeline may be extended to BeeVee to get his car up to Wagga

I know I'm looking forward to this event. With a 1500km trip from Brisbane I'm looking forward to seeing as many Capri's in one place as possible.

There does seem to be a lot more sniping and bs of late. There's no place for it in a forum in my view. I want to see project updates, information shares and event promotion. Maybe it's time we all pause and think about how to build a Capri community rather than tear it down.

John, the Capriciation event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Capri's release here in Australia is being held in ALBURY, not Wagga Wagga!

As for BEEVEE, I think Bernie contributed a lot to the conversation including with a little bit of incorrect information, but it was those darn 'trade' plates that brought him undone. When we have such a cheap and brilliant 'Club Permit Scheme' it really is best to just abide by its rules and enjoy it!

And finally, none of this 'nonsense' should be a deterrent from attending the April 25-28, 2019 event in ALBURY.

11 x 265HP cars, I'd like to see that! I think you mean 165HP John, but it got my attention!

I hope everyone that can possibly attend Capriciation does so, with their Capris, and makes it known to everyone who they are. I personally would like to meet everyone on this Forum and put names to faces etc. and personally thank people for the help they've given me, I'd urge as many people to attend as possible, put their differences aside and have a great weekend, lets face it, we've all got at least one thing in common!! I haven't been a member that long but have been very impressed with the help I have received re: parts and general info. and am very much looking forward to seeing so many Capris together in one place, it's forums like this and events like Capriciation that keep the marque bubbling along and I'm sure it will be a fabulous event. I'm also very appreciative of all the time and effort people are putting into the organisation of this event, can't wait.

I for one haven't utilised the benefits of this forum for quiet sometime due to the bull**** that gets posted in response to, posts that are typically of genuine interest.
There is a wealth knowledge to be gained from the majority of forums members, however I believe many have just tired of some of the negativity being generated in response to posts of late.

Lest just get on with appreciating these great cars and the community that support them.

no-one needs to boycott any event, indeed as Timmo suggested, events like Capriciation are great opportunities to put a face to the name and I'd be sure much would be sorted over a beer or to.
I wont be game enough to try to drive to Albury, but in a similar vain, i'd look forward to catching up with a few memebrs early next year at the Geelong All Ford Day, closer to home for some (except Drew and Hotboost etc.)
