I’m still using the Capri sender.

I had thought about trying to use the Commodore sender simply because it is a much newer design, but I doubt it would send a compatible signal to the fuel gauge. I think I will keep the Capri sender as well just for the sake of simplicity!

They were busy wiring mine up when I arrived today

Well it starts cold straight up - just turn the key and off u go.
The tuner tells me they had it at 160 hp at the rear wheels - not sure what that translates to vs stock.
I have to put the bonnet etc on - then c how she goes 🤔

First off - well done! I think this will transform the driveability of your car and the engine will last a lot longer - no chance of bore washing the middle cylinders! I had considered doing this six months ago but could not find evidence of anyone else having sucessfully completed the project.

I haven’t actually driven it on the road but certainly feels good around the paddock! Starts great each time 🙂

It's been a while now - how do you rate the EFI?

Funny - but after all the mods - i drive a standard carburated v6 all the time - hardly ever drive this one.  It works very well, very smooth - just i enjoy driving my pink one
The only hassle is on start up - u dont touch the throttle as there is no air speed and the angle of the injectors causes the fuel to squirt onto the opposite side of the throttle body. When the air speed is there, the mixture is drawn down and all is good - just have to let the computer do its thing
