Radiator options mk2

Hey guys, interested if anyone knows of any suitable larger radiators from later model vehicles that may fit into the escort. Like the one shown in the pic if it ever loads. Just looking for something with a bit more cooling capabilities which will be a cheap option from the wreckers etc. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

I thought I read somewhere that an alloy radiator from one of the late model VW's would fit....?

I do tend to agree with you whools, i drove my mk2 escort for 11yrs using a mk2 cortina radiator, (bigger header tank) ran coolant all the time and only flushed when a new pinto went in. ...3-4yrs , temp never got above 1/3rd even on killer hot days jammed in gridlock. ..i used a manual thermo fan switch at long traffic halts only.

Thanks guys for the input. Not a case of wanting to look like me mates skyline. Lol. Im building this car for a bit of track use and hill climbs bit harder than your average cruising. Motor (pinto) has already been rebuilt and cooling system all ok. Will be running an oil cooler and all that stuff. Bit of head work, cam. etc. I had just seen a few pics of escorts setup for racing with what appeared to be a standard looking radiator from a later model car and i thought i might sus on here and see wheather anyone new anything. Also thinking a bit of overkill for any future mods / engine swaps. Thanks for your advice.
