If it’s for a Capri then come cut it from the blue or Green wreck. Theirs not much left of the cars and no money in scrap. Easy access nowadays.

Wiggy Do you have any B pillars in the wrecks you are cutting up?
I have an early shell with the front seat anchor down low and would like to source the B pillars from a later shell to fit in.

Yes I think I do. The blue one was at least a 70 model with the larger plate. It still has both B pillars. It would be a lot of work to transform yours but I know you’d be up for it. Really anything left of these two bodies are free of charge plus a cut price 5mins work or just come take it away. Parts are a different story unless it’s a wheel nut. Only the 69 model had different trim and on B pillar and the lower seat belt mounts if my brain is working correctly.

yep for the capri  i think one of mine is bent a bit and looks as if somebody drilled the hole bigger as 1 bolt is bigger than the other ...

I think their pressed in. So drill out then you could bolt new one in. One of these cars was a perfect 4cyl with full rust proofing before some boot head cut the roof off to obviously sell a sunroof repair panel and it went from their. At factory.

I can get the old ones off no prob. It’s getting yours off without damaging anything that’s the problem. I would get in with a dremel and mini cut off disk. No idea how you could recreate the pressed stud. I’d got for a similar size stud without thread or it will wear your support. Or maybe a stud with plastic grommet would be best. I don’t think a reciprocal saw would work without damage.

If you want you can come and pick your own anytime of the week. The green car is going to have the best ones and you don’t need to worry about the car just cut.
