funny you mention GSEscorts for your supplies, i used to order my stuff thru Ian Harwood ltd...before he retired and sold the business to Graham (i think his name is). Ian was a top fella, I'd fax my order thru or sometimes call for a nice long and interestingly funny chat . Anyways i like those bubble guards ,keep up the good work. .

did you see Magnum have matching full rear quarters with bubbles done already as well. Kinda takes some of the fun out? I amazes me how the metal can be stretched so much when its stamped Hurry up Bonus we need shots with guards on and wheels when they come. It will be a full Matchbox car look.

Deano , I bought a pair of those rear quarters with bubbles a few years back in the UK they are good . I fitted them to a 4 door shell to convert to 2 door . I guess I will have to do this again once all the 2 doors run out. Wheels still not arrived , I was hoping they would be here Friday . Marty , your quite right Graham owns GS escorts . Hes a good guy and an escort fanatic . Hes also very good at sourcing rare stuff . Im trying to buy a proven rally winner type 49 shell from him at the moment for my next project. Bruce

SKC this engine came from Italy . Spend most of my spare time looking for parts and cars / projects . Cossy engines are still available but sadly cost a kidney and a liver . In the uk now they start from £6000 or $12000 AUD then you have the pain of getting them here . Then once there here you find some donkey has sold you a duffer and it needs rebuilding anyway . Now in the process of finding a BDA for my next project.

Aye, Cossies seem to be a ticket to print money nowadays. Although, i do drool at those heinously expensive works of art that can be seen on the Wilcox website.... Ah, whats the BDA project to be? A historic rally car?

Are you chasing another iron block BDA or from my understanding can buy alloy block/head equiv. I cant imagine any of it being cheap.
Ive recently picked up a cossie head/ turbo rods etc to slowly build up a nice motor for my 2 door.

Sucks to hear about the break in, seem to be the 'time of year' for it. Had a few mates had things stolen from their place lately. Thieves piss me off.

That sucks Bonus. Maybe give us a bit of a list of what to keep an eye out for, surely between us we'd have all of Aus covered when it comes to Gumtree and fleabay. Yes this time of year is the worst, I've had my boat done over twice, each time between now and Christmas. One year I went down for a sail day after boxing day, they stolen the outboard, fuel tank, ropes, and the kids chocolate tin. Bad Christmas that year. Damn druggos cashing up for the festive season.

Thanks Guys , Im not sure it was druggys as they were very specific on what they took . Not going to list it all as im trying to forget about it and move on but to give an idea my YB engine went , T5 gearbox , 2 x SR20DET engines , A nice new shiny set of AP brakes and rotors , A pair of recaros i had sourced and lots of other smaller stuff . Anyway ive moved on and everything comes to he who waits. Time to start finding all this stuff again. I would appreciate you guys keeping an eye out for both my stuff that was stolen or parts to replace as I still need them or leads to anyone that may be selling. Thanks
