Escort gt1600 twin cam

Ford Australia stopped producing them at Homebush in 1972. Mine is a March 72 build . Ford won’t tell me what month they stopped building them .
Does anybody know ?

    Book I've got says August 72. Says that irregularities where cropping up in manufacture. Ie things missing etc
