Uploading of pictures
Don’t know if anyone else if having problems but I can’t upload any pictures. Got a new I Phone x for Xmas and can’t upload any new pics. I can upload any saved images from the old phone using this new one. Really sorry to be a pain.

Apple introduced a new image file format (heic) and didn't warn anyone. We had this problem at my work too with a couple of our apps. I'll set the forum to allow this file type to be uploaded, though I cannot guarantee that everyone will be able to view your images. Apple has less than 1/2 market share (which is reducing over time) with their iphones though continues to release features that only work on iphones. This is a pain in the backside.

I think there is an option on your iPhone for photos to be stored as JPG instead of HEIC format. That's another option for you.

Unsure if disabling LIVE mode when taking iPhone images helps?

Disabling live mode helps with file size, but I have to convert my iphone/ipad photos from jpeg to jpg so they’ll upload.

The following file extensions are enabled for upload - gif/jpg/heic/heif/png/jpeg/pdf Try this setting on your iPhone - http://www.mactrast.com/2...ng-photos-jpeg-ios-11/- Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone and tap the “Camera” menu option.
- Tap the “Formats” menu selection, and then tap “Most Compatible” to tell the iPhone camera to save your photos in the old JPEG format.
- Exit the Settings app.
“Most Compatible” will save all iPhone images as JPEG files. The files will also be copied as JPEG files, making it a bit easier to send and share photos with other users.

Yes I tried that long ago and still won’t work. Gets anywhere from 60% to 90% and just stalls. My laptop is broken so can’t use that.

It seems nobody can load pics on here from about a few weeks ago. We seem to get stuck at 50% loading and it never moves past that. Has the format changed recently cause I don't think it's our problem. Please look into it On behalf of the members, thanks
