Violet v6

Picked this violet v6 (white interior) (2k)
Been sitting for 20 years without paint - I think the roof and the heater bulge are buggered but may be able to resurrect the rest
Still comes with a lot of good stuff - a nice triple weber motor and juicy 72 parts and new stuff

Looks like a lot of work, but I know you’re not afraid of that! Love the wild violet capris.

So essentially you bought a triple weber setup and got a rebuilt engine and the car for free. Nice one!

Yes. V happy with the deal - - I'll scotchsbrite the panels and how it looks
Evicted the blue ice one into the carport to make room - it needed a wash!

Now that's a project, will cost you but worth it in the end.

Looks like it must still have been stored inside all that time. Surface rust on the panels beats wet weather rust any day. Still don’t know how you find them all. Do you like send drones out to farm houses or are you really the secret Santa. Well done.

ditto that comment.  Obviously I'm not looking in the right places, nor talking to the right people.

    Good one spud,
But you know the only successful car that comes to mind to install engine back to front was Renault 16 ? Trying this on CAPRI can only end in tears, right ?  (Joking)!!!
Fan pulley on that reco engine being offset to vertical line of crank means Very Early V6 Oval Port or what ?
    Cheers

I don't know - there seem to be plenty out there.
A friend has another one lined up for me - I'll probably get it in 3-4 weeks - I'm not sure why you would struggle to find One

Your networks are obviously much much better than ours spud. I generally don’t know about a capri unless it’s advertised.
