Kent 1600 compression ratio/piston clearance question

Hi all,

Trying to put together my 1600, bored out to .060, Kent 234 cam, .050 oversize steel rocker gear, lightened flywheel, balanced, GT sized valves, R6 ITBs etc. I've run into a problem when CCing the combustion area to work out deck height/compression ration. My machinist has supplied me 1600/1300LC pistons which has put my compression ration way done on what I planned for. I've got good amounts of valve cleared to my reworked pistons 4mm plus on the exhaust side and 6mm on the inlet side.

Can anyone help me out.

1. What is the minimum piston to head clearance?

2. What is the minimum compression ratio to get good results out of a stage 2 style build?

Thanks,
Rick
