Capri D windows

I will be removing the D windows from my Capri in the next couple of days however they are glued in.
Are they normally glued in or are they supposed to have a rubber seal? Although the glass looks too large to fit in the aperture with a seal.

They should be removed with a Piano wire or Razor, they are not Urethaned in like modern cars, They are old school Mastic heated up to secure in.
I managed to remove mine easy with a Sharp Razor blade.

yep, and when you refit them, make sure you put a damn good thick bead of black sika, otherwise you end up having a gap between the window and chrome trim, and have to take it out and redo it.

Don't ask me how I know.
