Cibie light set up

Being pretty new to escorts im slowly building the car i wanted when i was 16.

Anyone give me guidance on what cibies to run on the front? id like a two up/two down set up. Do people set it up as some extra driving lights when high beam are on followed by an extra set of spot lights?

Any idea where would be the most cost effective place to buy a set up, ive seen lots of places sell the brackets but not many sell the lights themselves.

Cheers

Cibie lamps can be sourced at truck wreckers , just don't ask for them by name. Tho shouldn't pay more than $100pr these days.
To wire them up, they must be on separate switches (prs of lamps) and only able to work while high beam is activated ..best to run relays for all lights separately. Once they are working consider installing Hid kit to them. ...it'll turn a dismal winters night into a bright summers day! !
My mk2 escort ran 2up/2 down for over 10yrs and at the and of driving it i fitted Hids to the spots , it makes the high beam look yellow in comparison if it can be seen in the brightness !!
