STD cosworth piston rings

Need to replace a set after a freshen up and re hone.

Is there anywhere that supplies them local or are they only ex UK? I noticed the likes of Hastings dont list them.

Thanks,

Shaun

Cosworth what? YB, BD or other?  You could ask Special Piston Services for suggestions. Maybe Larner's for BD series. Are you after genuine OEM?

Am I the only one here who wishes he had a Cosworth that needs new rings?

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I should have clarified they are for YB pistons that I am reusing in a freshly honed block.

    SFE,

I have a set of Total Seals here left over from the last build so I may use them but was looking at using standard OEM style rings. I guess I'll just order a set via Brands Hatch or Burtons. I try and support local business when I can.

I am using special Piston Services 92mm forgies in another motor. I was given a choice of Hastings rings or total seals and interestingly the rings they used are EJ20T items.  At least it makes replacements easy.

I've never bought from Brands Hatch, are they competitively priced for Cosworth stuff? I've bought from Geoff Richardson & Wilcox in the UK but the way the exchange rates are  it can be better out of Cosworth America.

If it's any consolation Flighter, mine were for YB rods & pistons in a pinto and I believe Shaun is the same

Yep, refreshing the old turbo bottom end so I use it as a test bed to iron out the bugs in the new setup.

Mind you if id bought a full cossie setup all those years ago it would worked out waaaaaaaaay cheaper.
