The 70 model turned out to be reef green, have written to ford re the 72 model.
So I have an original frosted metallic pewter - a one off, a one off reef green and now this one. Just have to restore them .....

Spud you must make your misses crazy or she is an exceptional piece of art work in a ladies body. I don't know how you do it. I still want to know what a wide body SVO means and can't find the answers to that. As for your three (I think that's how it reads) SVO plated Capris well done.

What do you mean  - im exceptional - trying to avoid her all of the time is hard work -  anyway, that's the whole point  - im not getting much done on the capris, the pewter one still isn't sprayed, the reef green one, the red one, the x pack, the black one, the RS etc -  all still derelict - shes always on the look out... she seems to know when im tinkering on them and comes looking .....

    Ha ha!
I've repeatably learned to stay single and just be good friends.
Being in a relationship the price is just too high.

1 thing i learnt many many many moons ago is not to have more than 1 project at a time lost count on how many times ive seen peoples resto projects go to the tip or sold of at a price that would make any dead person turn in there grave ...

never know what lays around the corner health wise for any of us  and have seen many great cars sent to the tip due to the family members etc not wanting them or family needs the money and get sold for next to nothing ,,,

these new age kids just want honda, euro or jap pocket rockets they have no respect for classic old style cars that have outlasted any pocket rockets

I'd just like to know where spud find them all! ;^). The only SVO paint Capri I've seen was in Satin Brown Metallic.

Wiggy, there's no such thing as a wide body SVO Capri. I saw that ebay ad a while back with the blue capri with big flares, but it's not factory or even a Ford sanctioned race car.

    Cheers

Fortunately my son is old school, which as a consequence means he's raided for his project what few spares I have from mine.

WTB: Recaro seat - any condition considered

mick webb does svo cars and i think by memory started them here in aus in the 80's

and i think ford dpne svo back in 60's

with the capri what does the svo stand for

    plated under the paint tag

would that be like special vehicle  order  somebody or a dealer ordered that color for a customer that wanted different color than the normal standard colors
