GT V6 speedo cable

Hi All,
I'm in need of a speedo cable for  my GT V6 Capri and I found a place in England that has repro cables for sale (Burton), on the website they are saying they are suitable for MK1 3.0 V6. I also asked him if their speedo cable will be suitable for my Australian MK1 3.0 V6 to which he wasn't sure, ( I'm mostly concerned about the connection at the gear box end) he wanted a photo of one that I had to compare but I don't have one at all. Does anyone know if the English models would be the exact same as the aussie ones in regards to this?

    Try Yesterford in Bayswater North, Vic as they list speedo cables for 1600 and the 3000 V6 for $75.00. Find them at: www.yesterford.com/CAPRI-Mk1/
