Capri V6 ran black block heads sump and rocker covers, inlet manifold is unpainted alloy.  Timing case is usually black as well, but seeing is alloy I like to highlight this fact by leaving it bare

so can anybody shed some light why some capri's have a yellow brake booster and some black

my capri is yellow brake booster and car is going to be painted yellow  looks to poxy for me with booster being yellow same as car but its original from factory yellow ..i just cant stand it being yellow so im thinking ill be painting it gloss black or matte black

id say all mk1 capri have the same twin piston caliper's  well i think they all have all the v6 ones

so im thinking ill be painting it gloss black or matte black

Or you could split the difference and paint it satin black (like I did mine)!

think i may ring ford see if i can get a idea as why some had yellow brake boosters

mine has never been black it was factory yellow you can tell when you pull it off and sand it back there has never been any black on my brake booster ...
ive also seen quite a few cars that have come up for sale in original but full of rust conditon and some also had yellow brake boosters ...

its got me buggered ..but im going black anyway

just thought there might be some odd reason why some are black and some are yellow
