Alloy radiator holes

Had a great day out at Marulan on the weekend. But the last session of the day the nut came off the bottom bolt on the alternator and it worked its way forward, and jammed itself into my nice new(ish) alloy radiator.

Can these alloy radiators be repaired? I thought I read somewhere that it was not usually possible.

    Shame something like that happened,
They normally pinch off the leaking core to stop the flow .. Hope it'll be fixed soon

Yep, my nice Grp4 Fabrications rad. So annoyed. Will take it to town and see if it can be saved.
