It looks like post 1977 mk2 codes? Anyone confirm?

I think you're on the money there.

Ok. Just have inspected again. The vin plate is stamped as a ck44, chassis stamp on top of strut tower says ck49. The serial number following the ckXX is the same.
Thoughts? It definitely has everything twin cam. The other interesting thing is that it also has additional driving lights which were standard as an option?. The owner has owned it for 34 years.

Thanks Phil. Model code is 11119 so we are on the money :) the vin plate is wrong with its ck44 stamp but that doesn't mean much I feel

One more test run in about a fortnight a time but deposit is placed. Rather excited to say the least.
It's got a clutch leak at the master cylinder and a small brake line leak at the rear connection the flexible hose connecting to the diff. Everything else is looking great :)
Will post some pics once all sorted and confirmed :)

Well done mate, I'd be stoked to have that in my garage. Looks like a good one, any idea of its history? What are your plans for it?
Cheers Drew

Was actually owned by the guy that first got me into escorts.
Owned for 35 odd years.
Use to run it in a few cams races, hence the NC number plate. Had a respray at one point in its life.
Engined is worked with 711 block.
Apart from the catch can and ignition, a nice original version. It was a purchased between my father and I.
