Capri spring type

Hi all, I've just picked up some Capri struts, they look very original and have blue springs. Just wondering if anyone could tell me what model Capri they might be from? I.e. v6, 2l or 1600. And how would the springs go if I used them in an escort?
Any info greatly appreciated.

straight slideways! right?

    The springs r prob lovells. There is another thread on this forum relating to the part numbers which u will find on your strut casings. It won't make any difference t u - v6 or 4cyl. U will have a fair bit of neg camber. Take it out with adjustable top mounts -
