Escort 1976 mk2 Panel Van wipers

Hi, I'm doing up a Escort 1976 mk2 1.6 Panel Van which has the wiper arm missing. Can anyone tell me how to tell if your wiper setup is intermittent or not before i hunt down a replacement?

    Welcome to the forum Greg! If you have intermittent wipers there will be an orange/red relay box under the dash mounted up near the steering column next to the indicator flasher can. Is this the one that was for sale on Gumtree recently?

    Yeh was recently on Gumtree only arrived about 6 days ago pretty happy for $2,000 the harder I look the better it is.
