Headlight adjustment measurements

G'day all, does anyone have the formula/ measurements for setting up headlights? I know I have to park it a set distance from a wall with marks slightly lower than dead centre but can't find the exact details in any of my manuals...
Cheers Drew...

Move your car as close to the wall as possible.
    Put headlights on high beam
Mark light centre position on wall (a small piece of masking tapes works great for this)
Move car back about 4 metres or so and adjust headlights to centre of original lamp position.
Make sure you do it on high beam and also pays to have engine running to give a nice bright light (if there is such a thing with Lucas electrical systems).

    Hope that helps

Chapter 15 of the Ford 1977 Escort repair manual has it, although the instructions aren't RS2000 specific.  Let me know if you don't have one of those books handy, and I'll arrange a copy of the relvant pages.

I used to park the car on a big open flat carpark at night and do the adjustment there , I'd block one side to see where the other side is pointing until I'm happy, then road test for minor adjustments..
My rs2000 had all 4 for high beams, only cause the lights came from a Citroën and alfa , very bright but very dull on low beam!
