ARP Pinto flywheel bolt torque

Hi everyone.

I'm installing some ARP flywheel bolts in my Pinto, and noticed that the recommended torque setting is noticeably higher than  factory spec, i.e. ARP says 70 ft-lb to Ford's 50 ft-lb.  Any reason to be suspicious of the higher rating stated by ARP?

Thanks.

ARP are recommended for high performance applications because they are a higher tensile bolt, standard ones are usually 8.8, as Marty says- screw 'em up tighter!
