Fuel filler hose

Hi All,
Had to replace the fuel filler hose in the boot, the old one started leaking when  filling up the other day. Messed around with local suppliers to get a piece of hose but no luck. Got busy with google and found some really expensive bits-$11 an inch.! had a think about what was on my XA falcon and googled rare spares- bingo!!
They do a kit-hose , gasket and 4 shiny nickel fitting screw for the inlet neck. $29 ;plus $3 postage. Sedan kit is 100mm hose-part no F2311 and ute kit-140mm part no F2310. I went for the ute kit with the extra length and just trimmed a bit off. Fits nice and neat and have matching screws for the filler neck instead of the varied assortment originally fitted.
Cheers,
Len

Nice find.  I see gaskets are available separately too (part no. F2309). If you don't need gasket and screws, Burton's do filler hose at 41p/cm (about a £ per inch) - part no MOCNH57.

I was desperate to get my rs going and being weekend only had bunnings open so I got pvc to pvc rubber connector for 7 bucks. I expected it to fail not knowing if it's fuel compatible etc etc but guess what it hasn't failed yet some 5 years later and it looks in good condition still. 7 bucks and available anywhere in aus and it comes with clamps ready to go.....

I wonder if the filler necks are different sizes for different year models? My pipes are 2 1/4inch or 57mm ID so your 50mm pipe wouldn't fit, main reason I couldn't get hose locally and went on the net. Postage costs from UK are ridiculous.

Postage from UK can be very high (ridiculously so as you say), but if you plan ahead, like I'm trying to, at least combining purchases spreads the costs a bit.  The annoying thing is when you fill an order only to realise a little later that you forgot something, like I just did with Motorsport-Tools. I'll be placing an order with Burtons soon, but they don't have that particular item.
