I saw an yellow RS from a mile away today coming past the hospital smorning. Looked great on the road, wonder who owns it? Glad to hear it is all running well Reece.

Just a moment a go i ran a 16.5 @ 84mph. I believe that with a lil weight reduction and some practice a 15 sec pass is easily achievable.
Will book it in for a dyno run in a week or so as i am not quiet happy with the accuracy of the guage im using.

Keep ya posted

Great that shes alive again! Dragstrip or GTech for the 16.5?

Niether. It was by a thing called a 'D-Pic'. Its similar to a GTech but its an autometer gauge that is preminantly mounted in the car. On a private road of course.

Weighed the car today, came up at 1180kg with myself & a passenger, 1108kg with just me and 1034kg just sitting there. This was with ¾ of a tank of petrol, spare, tools, stereo gear & extra sound deadening.
Also ran a 0-60mp/h: 8.66 sec (with passenger).
The car is booked in for a dyno run on the 5th of Sept, going for about 80kw atw.
See how she goes.

Well...
The oil spray bar karked it the other day (whoops...should of replaced that[B)]). So, a lobe on the cam is a bit buggered and so is one of the rockers. [xx(]
But.....
I just recieved my new cam which i ordered from CamTech...
Specs:
Specs: cam_specs.jpg
71.44 KB

Once its back on the road, I am going to have to replace the gearbox asap as yet again this one it on its last legs. So I am planning to run a supra 5 speed. Im also going to need a new diff soon, so I am going to get a falcon LSD cut down and shoved in...

Then the real fun will begin...time for b0000st

new cam is in and set up, doesn't quiet revv as hard but the midrange is fantastic.
I just ran a 15.6 on my g tech and then ran 5 consecutive 15.8's, so i am more than pleased at the moment. I just received my Crane Cams elec ignition kit and will put that on tomorrow. I SHOULD be able to order teh stuff needed for my supra 5 speed conversion and i can finally drive it to the coast
