Need new V6 Starter motor (C3 Auto)

I have a mate with a V6 Auto capri, swapped over to C3 trans.  His starter is cactus and my supply of used ones are all fizzers.  Where can I get a reduction starter adapter as this seems to be a far better option (smaller lighter and more powerful)

    JR, try Castle Auto in Castlemaine online at www.caenterprises.com.au they have a Capri unit for $400, part number G/R-02/CAPRI to suit the V6. I bought mine from the Engine Shed in Pound Rd a fews ago now but he moved to Garfield or Bunyip. Can't locate him on the web, may be out of business now??

    Also, try Mini Bits. They do a very good alternator for the Capri. He may know where to go for the starter.
