Accelerator cable

So I'm in the process of putting a Pinto 2l into my 1979 mk2 and I'm having troubles with connecting the accelerator cable to the accelerator cable bracket and I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with some photos on how it's ment to look like.
Thanks

No photo, however if its all factory, you will have a bracket mounted to the inlet manifold with two bolts at 90 degrees to carbie. The cable goes through the square section and is held by pushing the clip in to expand it. The cable then attaches to the ball, slide the clip up the cable then push over ball sliding the clip back over to secure.

    Yes,
The rod still has the clip on the ball end. The way it is pictured is the correct orientation. the other end that goes on the carbie pushes in from the side towards the cam cover. Useually use a long screw driver between the manifold and rod to assist installation.
