Could well be an anglis part, ford UK was well known for its mix and match policy back then. I dont know how much help that will be though, anglia`s are even harder to find than eskies and i have no idea what the aftermarket parts availability is like

Not to derail the thread (or cut in line etc).. I'm also after a fuel cap for mk1 escort. But the RS type if anyone has one...? (I did have one on an old car but some bugger stole it!) eg.

Sorry. .out of luck , i must of given it away with the tank. All i have is the rubber outer seal.
It may also be the same part as mk1 Cortina ?

Get onto UK Ebay and just keep an eye out. They come up occasionally but you just have to wait until one is at your price range.
