Escort wiring diagram without regulator

Hi everyone looking for a wiring diagram for my MK1 van. I can find early model Escort diagrams but I'm after a later model diagram. All the later model diagrams I find have a regulator but my van doesn't. Can anyone help?

and this is the kind of regulator I'm guessing their referring to which I don't have.
