Mk2 eskie van

Hey guys, got myself another eskie, this time a monza red 1980 panelvan! Plans are for a cheap daily, so no crazy mods, just a neat eskie! Had it for a month now and been doing a heap of body work, trims on its way, new rubbers, and a tidy up of the good nick motor it came with (new seals, carby rebuild, and a new timing belt! Anyway here's some pics in order from when I got it till today!

You could be on a goldmine there mate, theres a lot of people looking for door cards like that and i dont know of anyone that does them. Theres front and rear doors for the four door, front doors on the two door and front doors and rear barn doors in the panel van, you could even do flat side panels for the rear of the two door and the panel van

When I first looked at getting new door trims I bought a set from a mob in Sydney- supposed to be for an RS but turned out to be Mark2 standard flat panels- beautiful repro door cards- correct thickness of material and all openings precisely cut ) which can be trimmed to suit your taste and cost $66 the pair. Mine were 2 door but I think they do 4 door ones as well. Will try to find the docket - name of the company escapes me at the moment.
    Cheers,
    Len
