appliance plate help

hey guys I have done research cant find anything my escort mk2 79 model coupe has
 
BC ESCORT 2DR what does the BC stand for on the appliance plate (rare model, special model etc)

    BC became the code for Mk2 Escorts built from when ford put the fuel tank under to boot floor and introduced the 2 litre motor to the line up. IMO

    spoke to a ford dealership gave them the model number ck40we which matches the strut tower number and was garunteed its from Britain and imported mate here are the plates

    For your car to have a fuel tank under the boot floor it was produced in Australia.
    The UK cars have their id plates on the slam panel, not on the inner R/H guard.
