Yeah, I thought it'd look nice with a yellow that was a bit darker than the factory one (Pine Lime, I think). It was a tough choice to make as when I had the colour samples next to each other I was surprised at how much the car had faded; so the factory colour could have been a good choice. I think you'll like it even more once the mirrors and decals go on! Making it look a bit like a miniature XY GTO....

Hi all, Some more of the car after it's been painted and put back together; just the decals to go and she's done. If you look carefully you can just see the rear calipers sneaking into the shot. Diskonekted

Looks fantastic, the blackouts and window chrome are great too.... The decals should finish it nicely.... Cheers Drew.....

Part 2 of 2. Now with a body looking that good, I've gotta get myself into gear and sort out the interior!! Anyone know a good place on the Sunshine Coast?? I've gotta give a big shout out to Mark from Outkast Bodyshop for the amazing work in such a small amount of time; he's got an amazing eye for detail and loves these old classics. He's got a few Kingwoods around the shop, but don't be put off by the Holden badges as he can appreciate the blue oval as well! If you're on the Sunshine Coast or in Brisbane, than I recommend giving him a call - PM me if you're interested in his number.

Thanks Drew, the black window frames look great in contrast to the chrome and colour of the body! I agree that the decals will (and do) finish it off nicely! I also like the sleek look of the rear pillars without the vents there and no badges on the boot, if anyone wants to know what model car it is they can look at the rear quarters!
