Newbe from Romania

Hi all,I'm trying to put together an Mk1 Escort I just saved, and I can't find a clear diagram of how all the parts, springs and plates come on the original rear drum brake.Have anyone photos or a clear diagram?Thanx!Note-I allready got the Haynes but is very poor in info on the back brakes.

Is this what you were after? These are the ones on the back of my mk1. I think the spring on the shoes should be on the back, not the front where I have it.

That one of the things i love about these groups, theres always someone with the right info willing to post it up to help someone else. Some groups would have answered that post with comments like "if you dont know how to put it back together you should`nt be doing it"

    Picture 1, Gregory's service & repair manual.
Pictures 2 & 3 is from genuine Ford Australia Escort Workshop manual 1970-1975.

I'm glad these helped. I pulled my drums apart a month ago & ordered some new parts for them.
By the time the new wheel cylinders & brake shoes arrived I had to familiarise myself with these diagrams very well!
