Just found this thread! Car looks awesome, reminds me of my Mexico. As you said I would lower it. But do it correctly. maybe 2 at the back with blocks or reset leaves and 1.5 at front. Then it will look awesome. That single black line works with the yellow paint so well.
Keep at it.

a dude comes out with a little machine and it has a motor in it that turns the wheel while the wheel is turning he cuts out some of the tyre, just a little bit. and then in the groove that is left he paints in. pretty simple.

Love the car sits just right and the whitewalls really work to make the "new style" wheels fit with the classic lines of the MK2.
