I've thrown in an old torn shifter boot in case it's helpful, and a good used over rider rubber also.
I have some other suggestions (and samples) for possible reproduction, but I'll get them all together and maybe start a thread here to guage interest from Capri owners.

Hi PeterM and Jamie (cosworthfreak) My name is James. I too am searching for the Essex V6 clutch/bell housing boot and the Capri gear shift boot you have pictured above. I am currently in the final stages of a restoration of a friends Capri. It is a 4/1970 V6 GT 4 Speed manual in in Yellow Glo. If you have success with manufacturing the above items I would be interested in purchasing them from you. I am based in NSW. I have found a few rubbers on this German website MOTOMOBIL dot COM (door check strap, handbrake lever boot) (waiting for delivery) but the above rubber pieces seem to unavailable for the V6 Essex. Hi Peter Another thing I need along with the new clutch boot is the retaining clip that holds the boot in place and in shape. It was missing from the boot when it was removed. Is it possible to manufacture this clip as well? BTW. The opening in the 4 Speed gearbox, for the clutch boot in this Capri, measures 105mm by 75mm. See pics below. One shows the part number on the inside of the clutch boot. Regards James

any projections as to costs of these re-produced Gearshift and Throw-out Fork Gaiters/Boots ?
There's probably not a Mk1 Capri owner in Australia (& maybe the world) who'd knock back such a need..........a thousand of each would not go unsold if price was right. On another subject..........does anybody know or willing to inform me the correct ORIGINAL paint colours for GTV6 1972 regarding..... 1/ENGINE BLOCK..... 2/VALVE COVERS ... 3/TIMING COVER... 4/bell housing... 5/GEARBOX ...6/propeller shaft ...7/RR AXLE HOUSING.... 8/ engine sump/pan ?
