xflow side entry dizzy cap

I just wanted to check that this:

Was the right side entry cap for my distributor:

 
Also, can you get them locally, or do I need to buy from OS?

    I replaced the dizzy on my 1600 Capri with an electronic Accuspark unit from the UK. I ordered the side entry cap thinking it would be better but I am not sure it is. Check all the lengths of your plug leads and how much room you have to work with before you order. In hindsight, I would have kept with the upright cap for ease of working with. Just my opinion & others may have a different view. You can buy the upright caps locally.

    Gday Ian.
    Good point on the length of the plug leads. I hadn't thought of that.
    But if I'm going side drafts I need the side entry cap, don't I?

    i dont have a side entry cap. twin 45's on a kent. it is tight but works well

    Hak that is the right cap for that distributor.
    Whilst you don't 'need' a side cap when you are playing around with the distributor and leads you will appreciate it.
    This is a 1300 manifold with a Bosch distributor on a 1600. Not much room to move.

    Sorry to hijak your thread Stephen but I'm about to put exactly the same dizzy into my Escort and am just a bit confused by the wiring.  It looks like the same Bosch igniter that is on mine, but I've only got two wires connected.  Looking at the pinout of the igniter it has them connected to the 'input' and ground only ?  I'm assuming the 'input' is the positive side of the coil?  How is your's wire up, I'm not too keen on toasting the igniter.
     
    On the side connecter side of things I'm running twin 40's and have no issues with plug leads in the conventional position.
