Yeah, it gets like that, lol. I've got my eye on a Brembo set for my Territory that sells on ebay from time to time. About 5g i think.

No playing with modded Golf's for a fair while. I bought a Mark 5 GTi new back in 05 and only kept it for 3 months. Got an offer for 5g more than I paid so that was good. Wasn't that impressed with them overall. Nice gearbox, but too damn heavy.

I will get another Mark 1 someday. Will put a DSG box in if possible.

My project at the moment is my Territory (Family and Tow Car). Got Goodridge Braided lines i'm fitting this long weekend and then will get some DBA slotted Rotors and good pads.

Got a Heavy Duty Tow Bar and transmission cooler on their way next month. Looking around for a car trailer too if you know anyone selling.
I may end up putting a Turbo or Blower on it, but I am sorting out the safety side first, this time around.

You up for a catch up this weekend? Send me an email.

PS. I got a Liberty for my company car, its a POS. But thats another story.

Hi Darren,

I think Bud turned the auto archive function off but it doesnt hurt to post something small to refresh the thread

I went to have another look at the old girl yesterday and test fit the electric powersteer. The exterior is now pretty much finished and in highfill by today I believe. Next is the engine bay then the interior and boot. I now have everything for the bottom end sorted with the Argo Rods being finished in 4-6weeks. Argo guarantee them for 10000rpm and 200hp per cylinder[:p] That should be a healthy safety margin. The head spec is now also finalised with some custom cams based on a Subaru grind on order. Im really keen to see how these respond as they are quite different to the traditional Cossie grinds. The next few months should see some exciting times[%]
