Yokohamas A539

Guys,
I am fed up with the rubbish sold he in oz. I don't know if Its that I am not looking in the right spots but I am after a decent set of tyres for my mk2 13 inch rim a must. Imagine I still have Bridgestone Eagers 205/60R13 with white wall writing that I bought in 1998. the tread is still good but they are like plastic. Anyhow, I would realy like a set of 175/50R13 and have seen some guys have them but I cannot find them cos non of the tyre places even know of them. I am in Sydney, any help in this area would be good.
Alternatives are Maxxis, Nankang, Falken (super expensive) or some brand called budget. What is this crap??? Maxxis in UK is good cos they get the MVZ or something which is meant to grip like anything.

Anyways please assist cos I cant drive my car when in the wet...its like I am on ice skates
Regards

Rod

Thanks Shaun, I did stumble across this last week but didn't notice they sell the tyres alone. Looks like a goer to me.

If the eagers are still legal you could always go with the 'opposite lock and power out method' it is an Escort after all.....
Seriously though, the cheaper tyres should still do the job on the everyday road, but the yokie's are the pick of the lot and worth hunting for....
    Cheers Drew....
