Auto vs manual crankshafts

Is there any differences between the auto and manual 1600 crossflow crankshaft in a Mk1 Escort ? Specifically the back of the crank where the flexplate and flywheel bolt up .

is there a spigot bearing or bush needed int  he back of the auto crank to suit the input shaft? or is it just a machined hole (doubt it)
