I'm trying to find out what the diff pinion angle was on both a V6 & a 4 cyl. Capri please.
If any one can help it would be most appreciated.
Thank you.

I've been told the pinion angle should be as close to the engine/gearbox angle as possible. eg on my twincam the engine leans back 4 degrees so the pinion angle points up 4 degrees. Parallel axis' in other words. This minimises vibrations.
Should be interesting to hear any comments to the contrary and reasoning why.

Thank you for that SFE. You are spot on about the T/Cam.
I have an unused from new one in my shed that measured at 4-4.5 degrees.
    Thanks again
    Cheers
