Thread sizes!

Hello all! I have two thread sizes I'm trying to figure out, just for replacing nuts and stuff...all off a MK2 Escort.

1. Rear shock mount (lower)
2. Front sway bar bracket (body mount)

Matt75, I'm looking at you! You're normally the first to reply to my thread size questions.

Thanks!

Hey Mate, I am not that sure.  I know MK1's are 5/16 UNC for the body bracket and am thinking the shock mount nut will be M13.

Sorry to disapoint but you may find it here - http://www.turbosport.co.uk/showthread.php?t=109172

I ran a die not over my shock mount recently, I think it was M12X1.5 from memory?

Tar's for getting there. Dirt's for racing!

That sounds about right.  I had to drill my Bilsteins out a little bit as they were for a MK1 and pretty sure I used a 13mm drill bit.

    Cheers,

That's right, I had to drill out my Bilsteins too. It's slowly coming back to me, the car sat untouched for a long time and I've forgotten a few things I did hahaha. Thanks lads.
