Nothin worse than seeing a gaggle of modern looking relays in the engine bay of a capri.
Im no electrician but I did this:
First reco original wiring loom so there is a base to work from.
Then I installed relays for high and low beam, driving lights, rad fan together with a fuse block behind the grille on the left side,(plenty of space in there). Then supplied a positive from a kill switch fitted beside the battery. The original loom is connected to the switching side of the relays instead of the lights etc. The extra wires have their own loom taped in a color to match the car so they dont stand out.
Then inside, if the plastic panel on the passenger side dash is removed there is a great space for another set of relays and fuse block to take care of things such as Ice, electric fuel pump, heater fan, wipers and whatever.
The way its done is the original wiring is totaly stock and could be easily put back to standard if anyone really wanted to.
Draw it all out on paper first and work out the wire sizes and fuse amps and so its understandable and easy to do the installation.
Cheers,ron.
