Turbo 1600 on the cheap

Just wondering what is to do to turbo a crossy 1600 on the cheap or is there other ways to get good power that doesn't cost a small fortune? Thanks guys!

    I looked at turboing my 1600 crossy ages ago as a draw through set up (google turbo roo escort) for insperation was gonna work out cheap as but brought an rs instead so canned that plan the bloke that ownes turbo roo is more then helpfull
