bolt holes for RS2000 seats
Hi, I am doing up a Mk2 van that has RS2000 seats fitted but I am not sure if its right. Could someone give me the bolt spacings and locations on a RS2000 floor. I am replacing the seat riser and part of the floors so the holes can be drilled in the correct places.

Aren't they mounted in the same holes as the ghia models? And the rear floor has stamped holes where they should go. Just a guess as I've not owned a RS for many years.

The holes are in the centre of the the rail, the first one, outside sill side, to the centre of the hole is 130mm, then from centre of that to the centre of the next one is 325mm, you should be able to mark the rears from that as there is no real point to measure with the curve of the floorpan.... The bolts are captive/ welded in, may be a challenge on the from as there is no access underneath the rail....
Hope that helps, good luck..... Drewdog............

OK thanks. Ive nearly done one floor and making a new seat riser is next. I can weld the nuts on before the riser is welded in.
