32/36 dgav accelerator pump not working

I seem to be having no fuel getting pumped down the carb on my 2l escort its a fresh motor and I have put a kit through the carb but the accelerator pump appears not to work. The pump is new and I have pulled it apart to make sure there is no tears or holes and it has been correctly installed there is just no fuel getting to the jets..... Any help is appreciated :)

Yes..... Was one of the first things I checked I have a facet electric fuel pump. There is plenty of fuel in the bowl just none getting sprayed when the throttle is opened.

If your getting fuel into the back if the diaghram and the path out isnt blocked, there should be a check valve to stop it pushing fuel back into the fuel bowl. Usually a bearing or weight with a spring to load it Maybe you dropped this when cleaning. Sorry cant open pictures well from phone

From what I can see there isn't any fuel getting into the accel pump diaphragm it's bone dry I have even tested it on a bench with the bowl full of fuel

if it helps, just squirted some carby cleaner through an old carb body I had lying around to see the path. fuel is drawn up past the pump discharge blanking needle, 23 in diagram. there was no check ball under my needle, the weber must use this needle to restrict backflow. you could remove 82 and check 81 isn't blocked, I think only the primary side of 81 should be drilled on the vacuum 32/36 card.

81 and 82 aren't blocked it seems to be an issues with fuel not entering the pump diaphragm I have squirted fuel down where the pump discharge blacking needle sits and the pump works fine. so there seems to be a blockage where the fuel enters the chamber where the pump is. can anyone post a picture of where it draws fuel from? I cant seem to find it. there are 2 holes in the side of the bowl but they both seem to go no where.......

ok...... I found a diagram of where the fuel enters the accelerator pump and both of those passages seem to be blocked..... has any one any idea of how to unblock them???? I am currently soaking the passage with carby clean but when I blow compressed air through it I get none comeing through at all

If a spray cleaner down the blanking needle hole it comes out the hole directly below it in the fuel blow. Looks to be a brass insert in the hole. Its a small hole, 0.6 mig wire and a thicker strand from a piece if wiring wouldnt go down. Managed to get a really flimsy strand of wire down mine to confirm there is a passage but too flimsy to use to clear any blockage
