Heavy Duty V6 Clutch

Anybody know where you can buy a heavy duty clutch and pressure plate etc for the standard 4 speed on a V6? Is there a better brand/type of heavy duty clutch?

Apart from twin plate racing versions (AP Racing does one for the Essex V6), both of the following do various heavy duty options:

    xtremeclutch.com.au
    clutchindustries.com.au

I'm sure there must be others, especially from the UK (although freight would be a killer).

    Good luck.

I bought an exedy heavy duty clutch kit for mine and am very pleased with it. Its totaly civilised, smooth uptake and no noises. It handles spirited driving easily and is a great solution for a road car.

Heard you use a Jaguar diaphram in the Pressure plate to make a stock clutch in a heavy duty one

Exedy direct have sports tuff for $423 and free delivery.
After five years and some very spirited driving there are no issues at all.
Google up technicluch and read their feedback. Very scary indeed.

Matt, look over the actuating arm very carefully for any signs of stress. And make sure its set up with the required amount of freeplay. Or it will end in tears.
