mk2 escort leaf springs

ok, i put a thread on here a while ago when deciding on what leaf springs to use in my mk2, and everyone seemed to think king springs were the go. WRONG. the centre pins dont line up properly and now the diff sits at a lovely angle, so any good advice on what to do next? go back to original springs with lowering blocks, or get another brand or something? i see burton power have single leaf's for a decent price? 
f.y.i they are king lows, looking to keep the lowered ride height.

That seems weird, I just fit them to my car and had no problems, mine were made in late September this year.
 
As Knightime said, I would definitely contact king springs because as I said I had no problems with mine.
 
Just out of curiosity, is the diff on an angle to one side so it makes the car crab? Or is it an angle up or down?

Yep contact Kings.  The guys there are pretty good at sorting out problems but adding photos will tell the story if you have done something wrong in fitting them.  I have now fitted 4 or 5 set of these and have never had a problem.
 
Single leafs IMO are only useful where weight is the deciding factor. Without using lowering blocks (YUK) they will also be higher than standard springs.

Put some pics up.  Something doesn't sound right.

I had a set of rear leafs like that which came on a wreck . I put them side by side and one was almost 12mm off ! The way I fixed it was separate the leafs, scribe an accurate line on the main leaf and drill a new hole for the centre bolt/pin then reassemble. Oh spring steel is hard to drill so use oil.
