Fuel Tank Cap Size Help

Hi all, I'm in need of a new fuel cap for my MK1 Escort Panelvan but having trouble sourcing one which fits flush with the body. I've noticed that the sedan fuel cap fits however the face is smaller and doesn't sit flush with the body. I've tried your average car parts stores but all their books say that the van is the same size as the sedan. Can anyone help me here? Thanks heaps

Hi, I'm converting my van to lpg , the tank with all hoses and cap(chrome twist type I think) will be discarded. Having said that I've recently bought a mk2 van for spares which arrives tmoro could have a orig cap .
Will know then and get back to you.

Thread revival time - looks like the locking fuel cap for a van is an SL19 made by CPC.
