Ford Mandarin Orange on my Van???

Morning Lads and Lasses,

So after finding out my mk 2 van is in need of some major suspension work (not totally unexpected) I have decided to strip the van of its current colour (Ford Blood Orange) instead, do a mini resto and redo it in the Mandarin Orange that the B series fords came out with. My question is, How many other small fords/escorts have chosen this colour and does it suit the older style cars?

here is a pic of it as it is now

Nah ! I was going to do my zetec mk1 in mandarin until I seen the Focus xr5 electric orange which I went for instead. Personally the mandarin looks too washed out and perly. Tho you could use the blood orange as a base coat to save cash !

Not to throw you off your original choice.. but another nice orange type colour is the House of Kolor "Tangelo" colour.. Saw it a few years back on a couple cars and looked a treat, and thought it would be awesome on a small ford.
