under guard air filter

just wondering what people use for an air filter when putting it under the guard.
i've got a pod on it now but its a bit of a squeeze with the throttle body air flow meter then pod.
i would prefer a box under the guard instead of the pod under there so it can't get wet.
any pics or info on what you have done would be good thanks

Here is a pic of my pod filter on my KE30 Corolla,

I had a plate made up to stop water or dirt being flicked up from the wheel, and as it was tucked up was not in view front on, I gave it a clean/recharge every month, and was still good,

Given the location sounded great when boost was coming on, and flutter when off boost was noisy
