Sweet. What pickup are you using ? is it one with the spraybar to cool underneath the pistons ?

I'm sure phil mounted his engine far enough back so that it could clear the x-member.. this would also allow for better weight distribution, although in an Escort it requires a certain amount of 'choppage' to the firewall.

so you'll be using that turbo to start off with aswell ? with an autronic ecu with some suitably sized injectors ?

cool as.

Are you going to retain the toyota gearbox with the cable setup ?

There's lots of room in the front there for a decent sized cooler too due to the RS front

Sell the stocko one Mark don't be soft

Is your sump a modded cossie one or a modded 2L pinto one ?

Also with that sump pickup again if you've got the 2L sump.. have you / are you just grafting the the spraybar onto the 2L pickup ?

Cheers.

I will use the current pick up from my last Cossie, and do necessary mods if needed. I am yet to see the set-up for myself in the new motor.

Looking good now. Can't wait to see the progress and running.

Where abouts did you pick up the Cosworth? Here in Australia or the UK?

It has been in Australia for pretty much most of its life. I know the exact car it came from too.
